In many ways, Quake is a spiritual successor to DOOM. If not, all of human kind is doomed to death. It's up to Ranger to explore the new world, destroying all threats he comes across. After government experiments involving teleportation opens a doorway to another dimension, enemies come flooding through the gate. You play as Ranger, a grizzled and tough soldier with enough strength to lift an ox.
